Is Vietnam Safe for Solo Travelers?

Hi all,

I’m thinking of doing a solo trip to Vietnam next month. I’ve traveled solo across India, but this would be my first time alone in another country. Curious about how safe and solo-friendly Vietnam is, especially for women.

Also, what’s the vibe like in cities vs. smaller towns? I’d prefer something peaceful and not too touristy.
If you’ve done a solo trip there, I’d love to know your travel experience or any places to avoid.
