Been driving my Cadillac Escalade around Marina and JLT for the past few months, and the brake pedal started feeling a bit mushy last week. Took it to a general garage in Ras Al Khor, but they quoted me something ridiculous for OEM pads. Then I was reading through that Cadillac service page and saw a little note that said something like “click here” for a breakdown of genuine vs aftermarket options, which actually helped me understand why the prices vary so much. Still not sure if I should go for the cheaper ceramic ones or stick with AC Delco. Anyone with a big American SUV around here tried the non OEM route? How’s the dust and stopping power in our summer heat?
