Dental Health
Last month, I had my first dental check up in eighteen months and I was looking to record my experience – a great deal has changed in the last 18 months, in terms of my lifestyle and diet. Thus , here is a report on my current dental health – the dental wellness of a human being whose life has changed considerably for the better.
When I went for the last dental check of mine up, I was smoking twenty cigarettes as morning, I was drinking sugar filled white wine, 6 8 pints of coffee one day, I was eating sweet sugary unhealthy food constantly and I ate lots of jelly sweets. Like all great folks though, I brushed my teeth two times one day and swilled with mouthwash – this’s plenty of right?Just how Was My Dental Health 18 Months Ago
So how Was My Dental Health 18 Months Ago
When I visited the dentist for a check up 18 months ago, the visit resulted in me having a filling as a cavity had worsened and required refilling, I needed a scale as well as polish because the teeth of mine had been brown (from copious amounts and nicotine of coffee), tartar had collected around all of my teeth as well as the dentist was considering capping an additional tooth. Bad right? There is no hiding your lifestyle from a dentist – she just knew I smoked, she knew that I was having much more alcohol than I ought to have been, she knew about the coffee habit of mine and also about my addiction to sugar!! I was shocked. The Probiotic Toothpaste I was using, was the same toothpaste which is widely available around the world in a variety of supermarkets, as well as I didn’t always buy the most expensive toothpaste also.
It was only after this visit, that I was told by the physician of mine which I was heading for a fatal heart attack unless my lifestyle improved and as soon as I met my health coach and then began the journey of mine into natural and organic living.
